My sincere condolences to all of you. I have so many fond memories of Sheila during my campaign for Governor. I loved being around her -- she had such positive energy and she absolutely loved kids! Whenever my kids came up to Auburn for events, Sheila would huddle around them and talk to them about her family and how much she loved to see big, happy families. She was absolutely the best. I will really miss her. Please accept my sincere regrets and condolences to your entire family. Shelia was one in a million!

It is hard to imagine a person more caring, friendly, earnest, and hardworking than Sheila. She would open and close many conversations by telling the person with whom she was talking that they were "the Best." No matter how many times you heard her say this to others, she had an amazing capacity to convince you that you were, for that moment, actually the best. Sheila was willing to work for the success and benefit of others. She constantly and selflessly volunteered her time and energy to their success. In this -- her work for others -- it was Sheila who proved that it was all along she was truly "the Best."

I just heard the very unexpected & very sad news of Sheila's passing. My deepest condolences to Ed & the entire family. Ed & Sheila were always like family to our family & y'all were a special part of the "Hatch Rd Family". I grew up, on the farm up the street from y'all & our families were always close.
