Well, girls, your mother surely had a long and wonderful life. I very much enjoyed knowing her and Bill during our high school era. My wife Barbara, as a senior, even worked with Anna in the Principal's office at Greely. As well, she babysat for young Barbara while the parents and you "older" sisters went off skiing. Little did my Barbara know at the time that she too would become a Barbara Chandler!
On occasion I'd see Anna out and around and we'd always have an enjoyable time discussing updates and who's-doing-what.

About 3 years ago we began to have Sunday "Happy Hour" in an area beside the main road in Applegate. Anna would come every week, often driving herself over. I was amazed to hear stories from this 100-year-old woman about skiing down Mount Katahdin! Anna brought such joy to so many of her neighbors, and to all of her friends! We will always remember her fondly!
