It’s with a heavy broken 💔 I say goodbye to you my beautiful Aunt whom I called my second mom. I sit here with tears flowing off my face. Though I carry lots of anger to our family for not letting me know you was ill, I can’t help but reflect on all the wonderful memories I have growing up with the second woman I ever fell in love with. There’s not many people that come and go in your life that make such an impact on a person as you did on me. You called me on my birthday every single year right up until last year at 90 years old. Who does that? Who remembers that at that age? You did Aunt Teresa.Though I didn’t get a chance to kiss you and hug you, you know how much I loved you. You will forever be in my thoughts. You know how much you meant to me. You always talked about the time you caught me and David on the barn roof, you told everybody that story countless times where you had to scream “Get off that Roof” you were scared we would get hurt. Mon belle dame, I’m hurting. I know you can’t live forever but I’m saddened to see you go without having the opportunity to hold you and tell you how much you meant to me as a young boy growing up and feeling so loved. I will grieve. Thank you for all your thoughtfulness and kindness and for treating me as your own son. You definitely made me feel loved! Goodbye for now Mon belle dame, until we meet again.
