It was my privilege to meet Lisa years ago during an interview we had for a position with my bank. I will never forget her kindness, bright intellect, quick wit and caring demeanor. Lisa was the sunshine on a cloudy day. She always saw the best in people. She stuck out but in fabulous ways, and everybody was a friend. I knew her for a short time in high school maybe 2004-2005?ish.she was older, I'm younger. We were in girlscouts together (Via Ann Baker). She always had the best ideas and was so loving. Even in the hardest times she always looked at things positively. I can't believe she's already done traveling. But to the stars os a great destination (: ♡ Peace. It seems like yesterday that you and I were chatting on Facebook about the power of positivity and prayer, and loving ourselves first before anything else.

I am at a loss for words. Lisa was a wonderful person. The last time I saw her we were celebrating our mutual friend's birthday. Lisa was such a wonderful person! My life was better because of her and I will cherish all the memories we made. She lit up any room. I'm having a very hard time wrapping my mind around all this, and I'm not sure the reality has set in. My heart breaks for her family and there are no words of condolence that can take away this kind of pain. The only comfort is in knowing that she is wrapped safely in our Savior's arms. I could tell you so many wonderful stories about this girl, Lisa was one of my very best friends, my room mate for a short while but most importantly, she was my family. I knew her for 10+ years and my family and I admired her so much, they always loved it when she visited my parents house in Mexico and her, my brother and I had countless wonderful times with her, she had an infectious laugh that was one of a kind and a personality that lit up the room. I will cherish my time with her always and have so many wonderful memories of her. She may have traveled and lived in many places in this world but she will always be home in Maine and in our hearts. I love you Lisa Marie Cox and I will never forget you.
