March 6, 2022 | Claire and Mike Bouchard - Harrison, ME -- USA

We were so sorry to hear about Ed's passing. We send our deepest condolences and love.

I remember seeing his art as a child and wishing that I could draw as well as he did. His horses were gorgeous. Despite our age difference, he had time for me when I was at your home while growing up. I appreciated his coming to see my Mom when she was under hospice care.

March 5, 2022 | David Jenkins - Largo, Florida -- Pinellas

Sad to hear, Ed you were one of the good ones.

March 5, 2022 | Larry Poulin - Auburn, Me -- Androscoggin

My deepest sympathy to Madeline, the boys and the Comeau family. Ed and I were best friends and grew up sharing the love of horses. We spent many hours exploring the Auburn and Danville woods on horseback. As young men we worked together for his Dad in construction. Ed was the best friend a guy could have. Covid made it impossible for me to visit him when he was at the nursing home but there isn't one day that I didnt think of him. One fond memory is each of us stealing a loaf of fresh baked bread from his mother's kitchen along with a tub of butter, then hiding to eat it while we roared with laughter. Rest well my friend, Charlie and I will meet you and Dixie one day to enjoy a heavenly gallop. Much love,
Larry

March 5, 2022 | Anita Poulin - Auburn, Maine -- Androscoggin

Ed's obituary describes him so well. He was a quiet deep thinker who enjoyed the simple things in life. He saw beauty in the grain of wood, a delicate snow flake, and the shimmering diamonds on water ripples of the lake.
His favorite place to be was camp. Lake Auburn was his refuge. He had a love for reading and would call me to give me the title of a good book. As cousins, we grew up together. He and his brothers and sisters were my siblings. I will miss this quiet big hearted man. My deepest sympathy to his caring wife Madeline and to his two sons. I love you all very much! Cousin Anita
