Dad,

I just want to mention as a Christian, I know you are now in no more pain. You can see now and walk with Jesus. It was a privilege to be your son and I am glad I had the opportunity be with you until the end of your life. I know you have eternal life now and that give us all comfort and peace. I wish I could buy you a blueberry muffin or a whopper with cheese, just one more time.

Love you with all my heart,
Bobby

I don't feel sorry for my Grampa because he is at peace now and no longer in pain. I do however feel sorry for all of the people that didn't have the pleasure of meeting him and will never be able to be touched by his kind nature. I, myslef am sad that I will never hold him again. But I have to remember that I can still talk to him whenever I want and know he will be listening. I can hear and see him whenever I want by watching one of the many videos that he made for our family. He is the strongest, most selfless man in the world and I will spend the rest of my life trying to live up to his legacy. He was also the absolute BEST Grampa a kid could have. Only his grandchildren will understand that. I LOVE YOU BAMP!

Uncle Charlie was such a wonderful man. He will be sadly missed. My heart goes out to all those who were closest to him who are feeling the pain of his loss the most. I will remember him always as a sweet and thoughful uncle who cared deeply about his family.

February 22, 2012 | Bob Tiner, Jr. - Poland Spring, Maine -- U.S.A.

Charlie,
I will miss your good humor, all the tales of your exciting adventures with Don. You lived a good life and did it all, while working and playing.

I'll always remember the days I took you fishing, most memorably the trip to the river in Woolwich for smelts, you were so weary of the ice cracking, you wanted to go home. As we were leaving and I assured you how safe the ice was, I stepped into a large hole in the ice and went swimming! I know you never fished there again.
I remember the huge brown trout you caught at Range Pond, telling me you were "hung up" on the bottom.
You & Don sure reminded me of "the grump old men", every time I saw you together.
You will leave a vacancy in the hearts of many.
I enjoyed having you as a good friend, I'll miss you.

My deepest condolences go out to the Clark family. I didn't know Mr.Clark only through his loving granddaughter Meegan who would tell me amazing stories of what a great man he was. I am sorry for your loss but I know he is feeling better now <3

Thank you dad for all you've done for us. We all miss you so much. This is the best way I can describe how you lived your life.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!!!"

I Love you dad,

Bobby
