A ray of sunshine in any room, whose smile and laugh was infections to all who was lucky enough to have her sweet and giving heart in their lives. Jim, Mike, Jamie, and Jeff - It has been many years since I have been actively in your lives; however, I hope you all know that the time I spent with you and living in your home are some of the greatest memories I have in my life. Donna shared such unconditional love with me (as did you all) and modeled the behavior of giving as much of oneself as one could to bring others joy. You were so fortunate to have had her as your wife/mother, and those of us who knew her are better people for having had her in our lives. She was a gift to me(Laura) personally after the death of our daughter. She offered her unique gifts so freely while we lived in BB. The love you two shared was both evident and special. Jim, What a lovely tribute you wrote for Donna. You really captured the essence of her spirit and charm. So sad for you and the family to have gone through this.
I am reminded of a visit one time to the hair salon in Gorham. With all of the mirrors, I could see how much hair I was losing, not yet bald but getting there. I asked Donna if she had any advice to help with that. She looked me straight in the eyes and said "Wear a hat!" Pure Donna Begley! The world is poorer for her passing.

Dear Jim, Mike, and family, I am so saddened to hear of Donna’s passing. Your write-up of her life depicted the Donna that I knew in Gorham, so well. Working with her on the musicals as part of the parents’ group with so much fun. Her enthusiasm was infectious and we shared many laughs. Such wonderful memories of our children going through GHS.
