To the entire family of Jon, So sorry for your loss. I had the honor of taking care of Jon at DYP. When he came to us it was so exciting to see his progress in trying to express his needs and the excitement when Tom his therapist, had him standing and walking a few steps. He gave us the biggest smile when we teased him about living on the fast lane. He always agreed. To see his BIG smile when his daughter arrived to visit. That was so heart warming. When it became clear that his prognosis was not promising, the family came together and made some difficult decision. He was lucky to have all of you love him so much. Tom, you were a great brother seeing to all his needs. We all fell in love with Jon and his personality. He had the nicest smile. I truly believe he is still raising hell in his new journey. I will cherish the day that he played a few notes on his harmonica. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Linda Gelinas Nurse DYP

Fondly remembering that Uncle Jon was always such a fun uncle when I was young. He had a way of making me feel special and grownup, and we enjoyed ice skating at his house when I was a little older.
He is missed.
