Pat,

I'm sorry we lost touch. I didn't have a chance to thank you and tell you I love you.

You were always there with listening ears, thought provoking questions, solid advice, kindness and that smile.

It didn't matter the issue; real estate, kids in the youth group, family matters, or a broken heart. You always had time, you always made time, you were available.

You helped me manage the pain and taught me how to work through a depression after I lost someone special in my life.

I know at one point you said, "we only get one ride in this life." You didn't want to see me wasting my time being sad.

You taught me silence is good. I miss just being quiet with you.

Please know your absence in my life has been noticed, and you have left your mark on this world.

I love you Friend, rest in peace.
